"Korkie Cards"
"King Korkie"


 
 

“Korkie Cards” were born out of the idea of making some behavioral changes within our classroom.   We brainstormed some areas that needed improvement, created “King Korkie”, and designed some interesting characters with “special” powers.  Rewards and point values were added to each card, as well.  "Bonus" cards created by "King Korkie" will be used for additional opportunities.   See for yourself!!!!

Rules

* Card trading & earned rewards will be done every other day.

* If a boy or girl earns a card, he or she can't hold the card.  The card is then rewarded to a person of the opposite gender who is exhibiting the "positive behavior".

* "King Korkie" will have "Free Trade Days" & "Boys vs. Girls Point Days".

* "King Korkie" will award "Bonus" cards for each of the 10 positive behaviors, as well.  The rewards will be given during our scheduled reward times.


Positive Behavior:  Proofread & check your work
Reward:  Homework Pass
10 points



Positive Behavior:  Be helpful to others
Reward:  10 minutes of computer time with a friend
9 points



Positive Behavior:  Be polite
Reward:  10 minutes of computer time (alone)
8 points


Positive Behavior:  Follow directions the first time they are given
Reward:  candy pick

Positive Behavior:  Work quietly in class
Reward:  candy pick

Positive Behavior:  Stay on task
Reward:  candy pick

Positive Behavior:  Work cooperatively
Reward:  candy pick

Positive Behavior:  Be quiet in line
