Redistricting Meetings

The school district will be having four meetings to discuss redistricting students for next school year. Your input is greatly valued during this process. The first meeting will be at Claggett on Wednesday, November 5th from 6:30-8:00 pm. The same information will be presented and discussed on Thursday, November 6th from 6:30-8:00 pm at Root. There will be a second meeting at both schools to propose a plan and get community feedback. Claggett's will be on Tuesday, November 18th, and Root will have their meeting on Wednesday, November 19th. The school district is suggesting that you attend the meeting for your students' future middle school (Root in our case), but you are welcome at any meeting.

Thanksgiving Schedules

Tuesday, November 25th will be an early release day. The students will be let out of school one hour earlier than they are normally release. Then there will be no school the rest of the week. I hope all of you enjoy the long break with your families and friends.

Recycling Bin

Many of you may have noticed that we have a recycling bin in the parking lot at school. Anyone in the community is welcome to use it. The bin not only helps the environment, but it also helps raise money for the school. Feel free to send in any paper products like newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and junk mail. If you have any questions about the bin, feel free to contact either myself or Mrs. Foy.
