Ms. Cole-Olszewski has taught Business/Computer classes for over 20 years at Medina High SchoolThroughout the years she has taught hundreds of students the life-skill of typing and the fundamentals of the Microsoft technology components.  She also serves as the Business Technology Department Head, teaming with the business technology department members to offer new and challenging courses to the Medina student body.

Course Descriptions and Class Information

 

Business Technology IStudents will work with the Microsoft Office Version 2002 operating software including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.They will utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to learn to organize, design, and deliver powerful presentations. This class is essential for the college bound or anyone who plans on pursing a competitive business career.

Keyboarding:

All current 2008 semester students now know all the alphabetic keys after a process of seven weeks.  All keyboarding students are challenged to use their eight fingers and right thumb while doing keyboarding at home for school projects and personal typing.  The use of eight fingers and right thumb will increase their knowledge of the keyboard which will help in the daily projects.

**Successful completion of this course will satisfy the prerequisite for Business Tech. I and Word Processing I. 

It is strongly recommend that your student enroll in both

of these classes before graduating from MHS.
