* Designed for use with juniors
* Provide practice for the SAT I test which, like the ACT, may be required for college admission
* Used as a qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program, the National Achievement Scholarship Program for Outstanding Negro students and the National Hispanic Recognition Program
