SAT I

* Taken as a college entrance examination near the end of the junior year and, if needed, again during the senior year.
* Measures developed verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities.
* The SAT tends to be used by private and out-of-state colleges and universities.  Consult appropriate reference materials for specific institutional admissions requirements.
