| Welcome to my school page. I'm have been an Industrial Technology teacher
at Medina since 1999. After receiving my BS and MS degrees
from Eastern Illinois University, I went on with post-graduate
work and taught at the University of
Maryland. I then spent 12 years in construction management along
the Mid-Atlantic coast. I resumed teaching in
Indiana for 3 years before coming to teach at Medina High School. |

Introduction To Technology starts on bird house clocks. They
cut every piece to length then they sand it to perfection.
After the sanding is finished the student will connect the
two half's together (top right corner) with glue.
Then after it dries they will sand of any excess glue. |
| These are the pieces that form the bird house
clock. The base (top left corner), the bird house (bottom left
corner), the shutter (top right corner), the bird house sanded
and ready to be painted and put together (bottom right corner),
and the finished product (center). |

Mr. Bradley's Construction and Manufacturing course works on a more complicated clock. The class will split
up into 3 different groups. One group will cut all the front
pieces, on group will cut all the back pieces, and the last
group will cut all the side pieces. So it is very important
that each group has the right measurement to cut their stock.
After Mr. Bradley give the thumbs up, they start working (
4 corners). After they are done with cutting their stock,
they start sanding. Then they put the
pieces together and it forms the clock (Center, on the right).
They will then use chisels to get any excess glue off. After
they are done with that, they will stain it and if they
purchased
parts they will put them on after the stain dries (Center,
on the left).
