Course Descriptions and Class Information
Advanced Television Productions - This
year-long course has been designed for students with an interest in television
broadcasting and electronic news gathering. The students involved in this class
will be responsible for writing, directing, and producing a daily news show
presented to the students of Medina High School and the surrounding community.
Students will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities including: on-air
talent, production, directing, audio engineering, graphics composing, camera
operating, script writing, and general research.
Drafting Engineering I - A basic course
covering the fundamentals elements of industrial drawing. Topics covered
include lettering, geometric construction, single-view drawings, multi-view
drawings, sketching, working drawings, pictorial drawings, sectioning, auxiliary
views, and simple house plans. Accuracy and neatness are stressed.
This course is a must for prospective engineering students.
Drafting Engineering II -A technical course
for the prospective draftsman or engineer, using traditional drafting methods
along with computer aided design. Topics include threads and fasteners, surface
treatment of metals, properties of metals, and manufacturing processes |
