1. Be on time and seated in assigned seat by the bell.

2. Get to class early and write down homework.

3. Be prepared for class every day.

4. Tardy policy same as student handbook OR new policy in classroom.

5. Respect each other and cooperate during assigned learning activities.

6. Behavior should be appropriate for the classroom.

7. Please do as I say. School policy will not tolerate insubordination.

8. I usually give warnings.

9. Gum chewing is permitted but I do not want to see it, hear it, or find it.

10. Respect the "off limit" areas.

11. You must keep a gradesheet. Also, a notebook/folder/binder for notes and  handouts is required.

12. Please, please, please, clear your desk of books, backpack, etc. AND place in the desk or under it.
       If backpack is in the aisle, it will be moved to the back of the room.

13. The "Peggy Rankin Rule" is a very effective way to enhance learning.

14. Good writing, spelling, and grammar are skills that we can improve through practice.

15. If there is a substitute and your name is written down for poor behavior, the consequence is double, double detentions.

16. Be careful, Earth Science On the Brain Disease is contagious. There is no known cure.
