CLASS POLICIES
9th grade Science/Cleary
1. I start class when the
bell rings. YOU start class before
the bell rings! I expect you to come in, sit in assigned seat, and write your
homework down on your assignment sheet.
2. Tardy policy same as
student handbook.
3. Respect each other and
cooperate during assigned learning activities.
4. Behavior should be
appropriate for the classroom.
5. Please do as I say. School
policy will not tolerate insubordination.
6. I usually give
warnings.
7. Gum chewing is permitted
but I do not want to see it, hear it, or find it.
8. If a detention is given,
it is a “personal” detention and must be served with me in room 2131 from
9. You must keep a grade sheet. Also, a
notebook/folder/binder for notes and handouts is required, as well as graph
paper and colored pencils
10. Backpacks are placed in
the back of the room or under the lab desk.

Rule" is a very effective way to enhance learning.

13. If there is a substitute
and your name is written down for poor behavior, the consequence is double, double detentions.
14. If absent, see me before
or after school or in the first 2 minutes before the tardy bell. All labs and
work must be made up. You must take the initiative to find out what you missed.
15. An electronic textbook is
available to you at no charge or a CD copy can be made for you.

17. Be
careful, Earth Science On the Brain Disease is contagious. There is no known
cure.
