Parking Passes
Parking pass information for the 2009-2010 school year is on our web page under important information. Please read the information letter for specific directions and the dates in August when parking passes will be on sale.

Student Council
Reminder to Student Council members that there is a meeting in the Distance Learning Room on June 2 at 3:00. Bring all your paperwork and t-shirt money. See Mrs. Calaiacovo if you cannot attend.

Attention all Students
Please remind your parents to stop by and pick up any remaining medications you have at the clinic.

AP U.S. History
Are you taking AP U.S. History next year? Come sign up for summer work in room 2204.

Attention Upperclassmen
If you are seeking volunteer hours this summer or just interested in a teaching career, the office of Student Services could use your help. Camp counselors are being sought to work with Medina City School staff at a special summer camp July 6th thru August 3rd. The camp will be at Medina High from 9 a.m. until noon. Your volunteer hours and days are flexible. To pick up volunteer camp information and sign up to be contacted, go to the Hub and ask for the Summer Camp volunteer sheet.

Girls Track Athlete Uniforms
Reminder to all girl track athletes to turn in their uniforms today after school on the west deck of the gym. Also, don't forget the awards program on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the middle auditorium.

Girls Track Athletes
Congratulations to the following track girls who qualified for the state track and field championships next weekend. Jillian Graff, Molly Bayer, Taylor Wickey, and Anna Boyert earned their place at states in the 4 X 800 meter relay with a new school record of 9:18.15. Taylor Burke continued her undefeated season with a 1st place finish and new regional record of 5' 8.25" in the high jump. Good luck to Alex Wasik, Jillian, and Anna as they try to advance to the state meet in other events today.

Medina Ultimate Disc
Attention MHS students, MUD is back. If you would like to play ultimate frisbee throughout the summer, please join us Thursday, June 4th at 6:30 or June 7th at 3:30 for our first games of the season. We will be meeting at the top field at Reagan Park. See Brandon Stohrer if you have any questions.

Attention All Girl Track and Field Members
You must turn in your uniform today immediately after school on the West deck of the Gym. Fine slips will go out on Monday. Also, be aware that the awards program is on Tuesday June 2nd in the middle auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Please plan on attending for this short awards presentation.

Boys Lacrosse Players
Final equipment turn-in will be Monday, June 1st at 12:30 p.m. This is right after the 2nd exam session. All equipment and uniforms must be turned in to avoid any delays with your final report card. Any problems, contact Coach Walter. We will meet on the est deck of the gym.

Members of the Men's Track Team
Monday is the last day to turn in your uniforms and sweats. Please drop them off at the Hub or at the Athletic Office by the end of the day. Be sure to put your name on the bag. The school will charge you if they are not in. Also, this is a reminder that the Men's Track Awards Banquet is next Wednesday at 6:15pm in the Middle Auditorium.

A reminder to students that all the databases on the library's web page are available during the summer. If you would like a copy of the Usernames and Passwords, we have handouts for them at the Circulation Desk.

One of life's lessons is that we each have to say good-bye and it is my time retire and say good bye to the student of MHS. I want to thank you each for the privilege of working with you. My wish for everyone of you is that life is good to you and does not present many stumbling blocks. Remember, life is like teaching a pig to sing. It can be frustrating for you and annoys the heck out of the pig.

End of the Year Locker Clean Out
This is a reminder that there will be locker cleanout today at 2:10. Extra trash barrels will be in each hallway. Please take advantage of this time to throw away or take home your belongings. The custodians will begin cleaning lockers next Thursday. Anything worth donating will be given to a local charity.

ALSO, REMEMBER TO WRITE YOUR NAME INSIDE ALL YOUR TEXTBOOKS AND TURN THEM IN TO THE APPROPRIATE TEACHER WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR EXAM. DO NOT LEAVE TEXTBOOKS IN LOCKERS, ON LOCKERS OR ON A COUNTER IN A CLASSROOM. MAKE SURE YOUR TEACHER CHECKS THE BOOK IN. AVOID DEALING WITH LOST BOOK FEES OVER THE SUMMER.
