Medina Athletic Boosters Patron Drive
Medina Athletic Boosters is a non profit organization that
financially supports the sanctioned inter-scholastic athletic
programs of Medina High School (Medina City Schools). We provide
this support with membership dues and other fundraising activities
in order to provide our athletes with all that they need to compete.
We have an annual budget of at least $80,000. 2005/06 expenses
included approximately: $30,000 in uniforms; $8,000 in coaches'
clinics; $30,000 in capital improvements; $10,000 in athletic
recognition which included scholarships.
Our 2005/06 income was received from: $20,000 in concession income;
$27,000 from the sale of Varsity Gold Cards; $4,500 in 50/50
raffles; $4,700 Battling Bee Backer promotion; $4,000 in Stadium
Signs; $13,000 in patrons and advertising for our sports program;
and $3,000 in miscellaneous fundraisers.
Our goal is to provide our athletes the best equipment and training
facilities they need so they can achieve their goal - Conference and
State Championship. These goals can only be accomplished with the
hard work and dedication of the athletes, the coaches and the
Booster membership.
We invite you to join Medina Athletic Boosters and ask you to donate
generously to the fund of your choice. Once you become a member, we
will have the opportunity to volunteer for one or more of our
committees. Every athlete that competes for Medina thanks you for
all that you do to support them.
